Childhood:
Charlize is an only child of her Afrikaner parents. She was born and raised in South Africa, on a big farm where she
learned the many languages of the staff as well as all about farm maintenance.
At the age of six, she started taking ballet lessons, to which she was highly dedicated and eventually attended the

How it all Started:
At the age of 16, her striking beauty won her a modeling contest. Around that time her father passed away, so she

out-of-state checks.
